ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — A Zephyrhills man has been charged with felony battery after being accused of striking the mother of his child with sweet and sour sauce packets after she bought the wrong food for him at McDonald's.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Jesus Ferrer Jr., 30, of Gall Boulevard was arrested Sunday after he became angry when the mother of his child got his fast-food order wrong. Deputies said he struck her on the head and face with sauce packets and pinned her to the ground, placing his hand on her face and pressing down.
Deputies said she had injuries consistent with her description of events.
