Man Dies In Mobile Home Fire In Lutz

LUTZ, FL — A man has died following a late-night fire at a home in Lutz Sunday.

Pasco County Fire Rescue responded around midnight in the 20800 block of South Grove Loop in the Lake Como Co-Op in Lutz and found a double-wide mobile home with heavy fire and smoke showing.

Firefighters from Engine 23 performed an interior attack and search of the home where they found a man inside. They attempted life-saving measures outside the home but were forced to pronounce him dead at the scene.

Fire investigators from Pasco County Fire Rescue, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office and the Florida State Fire Marshal's Office are investigating the cause of the fire.
