Man Found Dead In Dade City Pond Monday Identified

DADE CITY, FL — Pasco County Sheriff's deputies have identified the man found dead Monday in a Dade City pond.

Ronnie Freeman, 53, of Dade City, was found dead around 2:30 p.m. by a county worker of an apparent drowning in a small pond near the intersection of McDonald Street off U.S. 301 in Dade City.

Foul play is not suspected but the medical examiner will verify the official cause of death.
