DADE CITY, FL -- Pasco County Sheriff's deputies arrested a woman who they say intentionally crashed her car with her 2-month-old baby inside "to gain attention from her ex-boyfriend."

Breanna Bechtol, 21, has been charged with aggravated child abuse.

According to deputies, Bechtol was driving her car on James Road in Dade City with her baby strapped in a car seat in the back seat when she intentionally struck a utility pole. She told deputies that she didn't intend to hurt herself or her baby. She just wanted attention from her former boyfriend.
