Motorcyclist Killed In Crash On State Road 54

A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he was struck on State Road 54 at Foggy Ridge Parkway.

LUTZ, FL — A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he was struck on State Road 54 at Foggy Ridge Parkway.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, around 7 p.m. Thursday, Randall Robert West, 48, of Land O' Lakes was making a left turn from eastbound S.R. 54 onto Foggy Ridge Parkway when he turned into the path of a Honda motorcycle ridden by Marc Alex McCorkle of Land O' Lakes.

McCorkle was ejected and died at the scene.

Charges are pending against West.
