Motorcyclist Killed In Crash In Zephyrhills
A 29-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash on U.S. 301 at Daughtry Road.
ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — A 29-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash on U.S. 301 at Daughtry Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 12:25 p.m. Nov. 23, David Walter Engberg of Land O' Lakes was riding a Yamaha motorcycle north on U.S. 301 approaching Daughtry Road and Shirley Ann Brooks, 73, of Zephyrhills was driving a Chevrolet Sonic south on U.S. 301.
Troopers said Brooks turned left onto Daughtry Road into the path of Engberg's motorcycle.

Engberg died at the scene.
Charges against Brooks are pending.
