New Wesley Chapel Dentist Offers Expertise, Ease For Patients

LUTZ, FL — When Dr. Ronak Parikh opened BayBreeze Dental, he made his dream a reality.

Parikh really loves giving back to the community, which is why he volunteers his time through Mission Smiles of Tampa and working with Turning Points to donate dental care to those in need.

He is also pursuing his dream of giving back and making a difference with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. A chance encounter with kids at a summer camp years ago and meeting campers with muscular challenges really changed his life.

It put him on a course to make a difference with the MDA. Ask him about it, he will share the story, a grin and his passion. A recent conversation with the MDA team leaders takes him on an exciting journey to share vital information about dentistry with health workers and families dealing with muscular dystrophy challenges.

He also has high hopes of sharing camp experiences with children with muscular challenges by donating a portion of his proceeds to this mission.

Parikh’s journey began after an introduction to medicine while attending a medical magnet program at a South Florida high school. He completed his bachelor’s thesis at the University of South Florida and earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences.

He then attended Barry University in Miami and earned a master’s degree in biomedical sciences. And then on to Roseman University College of Dental Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he earned a doctorate in dental science.

He continues to serve in many dental associations, including the American Academy of Clear Aligners, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and the West Coast Dental Association. Every year he takes the opportunity to take part in numerous advanced training seminars that go far beyond the requirements of the State Dental Association.

He is currently a member of The American General Dentistry and is close to becoming a Fellow.

Parikh is a firm believer in improving dental care for patients. He takes great pride in reducing the stress of going to the dentist. He tries to make his patients laugh and ease the fear of dentists, working with patients of all ages.

He has extensive experience in cosmetic and family dentistry and works to make you feel years younger and more confident in your smile. He has big plans for a fun toy idea to enrich the visit to the dental check-up.
