Pasco County 3rd-Grade Teacher Accused Of Possessing Child Porn
A 47-year-old Pasco County teacher was arrested and charged with 10 counts of possessing child pornography.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — A 47-year-old Pasco County teacher was arrested and charged with 10 counts of possessing child pornography.
Pasco County Sheriff's detectives arrested Spencer Allen Brush of Open Pasture Court in Wesley Chapel on Friday after he consented to a search of his cell phone.
According to detectives, Brush was identified during a "cyber incident."

During an interview with detectives, Brush admitted to accessing child pornography for several years using his cell phone.
Detectives said a review of his cell phone showed numerous images of children under 18 years old engaged is sexual activities. There were no images of Pasco County school children.

A third-grade teacher at Watergrass Elementary School, Brush began working for Pasco County Schools in November 2014.
Principal Scott Mitchell notified parents and staff of the arrest Saturday morning.
Spencer was released from jail after posting bail in lieu of a $50,000 bond. He has submitted his resignation to the school district.
