Pasco County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the discovery of body found in some woods in Wesley Chapel.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL --The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has identified a body discovered Saturday in a wooded area as 60-year-old Robert Hines of Hillsborough County.

Deputies say the body was found Saturday, Sept. 22, at about 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Beardsley Drive and Broughton Place by two people walking in the area. They flagged down a deputy to report the body.

Deputies found the "highly decomposed body" in what appeared to be a homeless camp site. The body was tentatively identified as Hines based on an identification card found nearby.
