Pasco Deputies Make IDs In Zephyrhills Assault, Robbery

Pasco County Sheriff's Office detectives have identified the couple caught on surveillance video at Walmart using stolen credit cards.

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL -- Pasco County Sheriff's Office detectives have identified the couple caught on surveillance video at Walmart using credit cards stolen during an April 1 assault and robbery.

The victim was followed from the Applebee's restaurant at 28422 State Road 54, Wesley Chapel, to the parking lot of a friend's apartment complex at 34914 Teeview Lane, Zephyrhills, shortly after 2:30 a.m. Sunday, April 1.

In the parking lot, the victim was approached by a woman who spoke to her. Suddenly, someone struck her from behind, cut her neck and pushed her to the ground. When she collected herself, she realized her purse containing her cell phone and wallet with multiple credit cards was gone (see related story).

About an hour later, the stolen credit cards were used at the Walmart at 1575 Land O' Lakes Blvd. in Lutz. Store surveillance cameras captured a white woman and a black man using the stolen credit cards.The victim said it was the same woman who approached her in the parking lot.

Pasco County Sheriff's deputies say the stolen credit cards were used at the Walmart on Dale Mabry Highway and at two other Walmarts in Hillsborough County as well.

Pasco detectives now say the woman in the video is Jessica Lynn Steele, 27, and the man is Riley Marcus McKinzey, no known addresses. They remain at large.

The Pasco Sheriff is asking anyone who knows their whereabouts to call Tampa Bay Crimestoppers at 1-800-873-8477, reference case #18-13089.
