Pasco Fire Rescue Crews Successfully Pull Worker From Trench
Pasco and Hillsborough County fire rescues crews have rescued a construction worker who was trapped in a trench in Wesley Chapel.
WESLEY CHAPEL, FL – Pasco and Hillsborough County fire rescues crews have successfully rescued a construction worker who was trapped in a trench at the intersection of Old Pasco Road and Quail Hollow Boulevard.
The worker became trapped when the trench collapsed and became stuck in waist-deep sand.
It took fire rescue crews more than an hour to pull him out. The worker was conscious and breathing throughout the rescue. He has been airlifted to the hospital.
