Pasco County Sheriff's Office is warning the public to be on the lookout for counterfeit currency.

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL -- The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is warning the public to be on the lookout for counterfeit currency.

Pasco deputies have seen a rise in the use and attempted use of counterfeit money to purchase goods and services in recent weeks.

On Wednesday, Sept. 26, deputies arrested 31-year-old Edward Leroy Gregory of Zephyrhills and charged him with uttering a forged note after he reportedly used a counterfeit $50 bill to pay a cab driver.
