Pedestrian Killed In Crash On Old Pasco Road

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — A 32-year-old man was killed on Old Pasco Road near Country Club Road early Wednesday morning after being struck by an SUV.

The SUV, driven by a 20-year-old Wesley Chapel man, was heading south on Old Pasco Road approaching Country Club Road just before 6 a.m. A man was walking north in the center of the southbound lane of Old Pasco Road.

The driver attempted to avoid the collision but was unsuccessful and the man died at the scene. His name has not been released.
