Police Arrest Dade City Man Implicated In 2 Business Robberies

The Dade City Police Department has charged a Dade City man with the robbery of two convenience stores.

DADE CITY, FL -- The Dade City Police Department has charged a Dade City man with the robbery of two convenience stores.

At 6:20 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, the 61-year-old store clerk at the Hilltop Gas Station,at 13851 7th St. in Dade City was accosted as she opened the store, forced to open the register and then brutally attacked, according to Dade City Police.

Her reported attacker, Michael Tyrone Larry Sr., 48, of the 14000 block of Croft Street, fled the scene of the robbery on foot.

Police also have probable cause to charge Larry in an attempted robbery at the Circle K convenience store at 11715 U.S. 301 Aug. 25. Larry fled the Circle K in a Buick after the clerk refused to give him any money.

Police located and arrested Larry Saturday afternoon.

He is currently being detained at the Dade City Police Department and will face multiple charges related to the robberies in Dade City.
