WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — On Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 9 a.m., Pasco County Fire Rescue, Pasco County commissioners and community leaders will officially open the new 9,430-square-foot fire station at the corner of Paramount Drive and Overpass Road in Wesley Chapel.

The state-of-the-art fire station is capable of housing six fire apparatus, nine firefighters, a battalion chief and a Pasco Sheriff's Office workstation offering deputies a place to work.

Station 38 is the first new service delivery area in Pasco County in more than a decade. The station includes a number of upgrades including custom gear lockers in a dedicated climate-controlled room, individual bunk rooms to house firefighters, an advanced air system designed to scrub the air inside the station to remove carcinogens, Plymovent exhaust capture system and a pervis advanced station alerting.
