Ribbon-Cutting Set Thursday For Wesley Chapel Fire Station

Pasco will officially open its new 9,430-square-foot fire station located at the corner of Dayflower and Old Pasco roads in Wesley Chapel.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL -- On Thursday, May 30, at 10 a.m., Pasco County Fire Rescue, Pasco County commissioners and community leaders will officially open the new 9,430-square-foot fire station located at the corner of Dayflower and Old Pasco roads in Wesley Chapel.

The station will serve the growing Wesley Chapel area.

The state-of-the-art fire station is capable of housing six fire apparatus, nine firefighters, one battalion chief and a Pasco County Sheriff's Office substation where deputies can work when away from the sheriff's office.

Station 13 includes custom gear lockers in a dedicated climate-controlled room, individual bunk rooms to house firefighters and an advanced air system designed to scrub the air inside the station to remove carcinogens.
