Video Released in Lutz Armed Robbery

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are on the lookout for an armed man they say robbed a Lutz convenience store on Sunday.

The man, a sheriff’s office media release said, went into the 14601 Livingston Ave. Handy Food Store around 4:29 p.m. Jan. 27 and pointed a black, semi-automatic gun at the clerk. He then demanded money from the drawer and fled after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.

The male suspect is described as about 22 to 29 years of age. He’s between 5 feet, 11 inches and 6 feet in height and weighs an estimated 160 to 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white, hooded sweatshirt, tan shorts, white shoes and white socks. He had a white cloth over his face and wore sunglasses during the robbery.
