Wesley Chapel Mobile Home Fire Claims 3rd Victim
A second person has died from injuries sustained in a mobile home fire on March 4 on Penny Royal Road in Wesley Chapel.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL -- A second person has died from injuries sustained in a mobile home fire on March 4 on Penny Royal Road in Wesley Chapel.
At around 10:30 a.m. on March 4, Pasco County Fire Rescue responded to a call at a mobile home in the 5900 block of Penny Royal Road in Wesley Chapel (see related story).
When Firefighters arrived on the scene, they reported a single-wide mobile home with fire shooting from all sides. Firefighters said a severely burned elderly man was outside the home. He was airlifted to a local burn unit where he died during the night.

After dousing the flames, firefighters found an elderly woman and a dog dead inside the home. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
