Wesley Chapel Woman Dies In Fiery Crash On I-275

LUTZ, FL — A 45-year-old Wesley Chapel woman has died following a fiery crash on Interstate 275 Monday evening.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Nicole Kristine Gaskins was driving a Honda Accord north on I-275 north of North Nebraska Avenue when her car drifted into the inside lane and back across the highway into the outside lane.

The car then left the highway and collided with a utility pole on the east shoulder where it rotated and burst into flames.

Gaskins died at the scene.
