Woman Accused Of Stealing Disabled Boy's Information To Get Job

A 37-year-old Wesley Chapel woman has been arrested after being accused of using an 11-year-old disabled boy's Social Security number.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL β€” A 37-year-old Wesley Chapel woman has been arrested after being accused of using an 11-year-old disabled boy's Social Security number to create fake documents to get a job.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Desiree Del Valle Villanueva Leal of Silverlake Way was charged with fraudulent use of personal information after detectives said she changed her name and used the boy's Social Security information on a W-4 form and I-9 form when she applied for a job at the Best Western hotel on Oakley Boulevard in Wesley Chapel.

The boy's mother discovered her son's Social Security number was being used when the Internal Revenue Service contacted her about the boy owing $817 in taxes.

Leal was taken to the Land O' Lakes Detention Center where bond was set at $5,000.
