Woman Dies In Early-Morning Dade City House Fire

An early-morning house fire has left a Dade City woman dead.

DADE CITY, FL -- An early-morning house fire has left a Dade City woman dead.

Pasco County Fire Rescue public information officer Corey Dierdorff said a passerby spotted the fire Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the 37800 block of Southview Circle and notified a sergeant with the Dade City Police Department.

The sergeant rushed into the home and removed the body of a woman. Her name has not been released. She was the only occupant of the home.

The State Fire Marshal has not yet determined the cause of the fire.
