Zephyrhills Man Accused Of Taking Money But Not Doing Work
A Zephyrhills business owner was arrested after being accused of taking money from customers and then not performing the agreed-upon work.

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL -- A Zephyrhills business owner was arrested after being accused of taking money from customers and then not performing the agreed-upon work.
Corbin Reutimann, 48, owner of Reutimann Fence Depot, has been charged with grand theft after customers said he failed to perform the services they paid him to do.
The most recent complaint occurred in August when Reutimann reportedly accepted a $700 down payment from a customer and cashed a check to purchase materials for the job. However, the customer said the work was never done.

Reutimann told deputies that he did purchase materials but said they went missing.
Another case dates back to June. Deputies say Reutimann agreed to do a $2,000 fence project, accepted a check for materials and was seen on bank surveillance video cashing the check. But deputies said he never returned to do the job or contacted the victim.

Additionally, according to deputies, in March Reutimann accepted a down payment of $10,000 to complete a fencing project and RV port at a home. Deputies say the check was cashed the same day but the work was never done.
When the victim tried to contact Reutimann, deputies said he made excuses about why the work couldn't be done but refused to refund the money.
Reutimann told deputies he was waiting for permits to be pulled for the project and didn't refund the money because he already bought the materials. But deputies say he could not produce the materials.
The sheriff's office said Reutimann "has a history of defrauding customers and multiple cases exist in this county."
