Zephyrhills Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash

A 54-year-old man was killed Tuesday ​when he lost control of his pickup truck and struck a tree.

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL -- A 54-year-old man was killed Tuesday when he lost control of his pickup truck and struck a tree.

At 1:20 a.m. on May 28, Tony Lee Pitts was driving his Ford F150 pickup truck north on Morris Bridge Road near Mandrake Road when he lost control. The truck left the road, overturned and collided with a tree.

Pitts died of his injuries at St. Joseph's Hospital.
