Zephyrhills Motorcyclist Killed In Crash

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — A 24-year-old Zephyrhills motorcyclist died at Tampa General Hospital following a crash Aug. 11

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 6:20 p.m. Martin Alvarez-Baeza, 40, of Zephyrhills was driving a pickup truck east on Bailey Hill Road across the southbound lanes of U.S. 301 and entered the path of a motorcycle ridden by Nathaniel Eli Hansen.

According to troopers, Hansen was traveling south on U.S. 301 at a high rate of speed when he struck the left side of a utility trailer towed by Alvarez-Baeza. Hansen was ejected from the motorcycle.
