• Manhattan Short Film Festival returns to Enzian this week (orlandoshine.com) — Maitland's Enzian Theater will host the 29th annual Manhattan Short Film Festival on Monday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m., where local audiences can help choose the global winners. The 140-minute program features 10 international short films spanning drama, sci-fi, animation, and more, giving Maitland film fans a chance to experience Oscar-caliber work close to home.
   

• Castillo Engineering Gears Up with New VP Appointments (investorshangout.com) — Maitland-based Castillo Engineering is expanding its leadership team by hiring two veteran vice presidents to drive growth in utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.
