• Woman facing litany of charges for alleged drug sales and fleeing (keysweekly.com) — A woman accused of selling fentanyl and cocaine in Marathon is now back in Monroe County custody after extradition from Nebraska. Deputies say she resumed dealing after a 2025 arrest, fled a 2026 traffic stop on Ramrod Key, and now faces numerous trafficking, battery, and resisting charges tied to the Keys investigation.
• Monroe deputies: Drunken Oklahoma gunman bit victim in Marathon (local10.com) — A tourist from Oklahoma was arrested in Marathon after deputies say he returned to a house he'd been kicked out of, threatened people with a gun, bit one victim, and resisted arrest. He was taken from Knights Key Boulevard to Fishermen's Hospital, then jailed on nine serious charges with a $150,000 bond.
