$1 Million FL Lottery Prize Claimed By South Florida Man

MIAMI, FL — A 38-year-old man is South Florida’s latest millionaire after winning a $1 million prize from the $5,000,000 LUCK scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said in a news release.

Jesus Fanjul of Miami chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $760,000. He claimed his prize at the Florida Lottery Miami district office.

Fanjul purchased his winning ticket from Fiesta Liquors at 7190 West Flagler Street in Miami. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

$5,000,000 LUCK, a $20 game, launched in September 2019 and features more than $329 million in cash prizes, including six top prizes of $5 million. The game's overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.97.
