$1 Million Florida Lottery Prize Claimed By Illinois Woman
A 43-year-old Illinois woman won a $1 million prize playing the $5,000,000 GOLD RUSH CLASSIC scratch-off game.
WEST PALM BEACH, FL — A 43-year-old woman visiting South Florida won a $1 million prize from the $5,000,000 GOLD RUSH CLASSIC scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said in a news release.
Danelia Flores-Garcia of Beach Park, Illinois chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $710,000. She claimed her prize at Florida Lottery’s West Palm Beach district office.
She purchased her winning ticket from Greenacres Discount Food at 5390 10th Ave. N. in Greenacres. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

$5,000,000 GOLD RUSH CLASSIC, a $20 game, launched in October 2018 and gives players the opportunity to win up to $5,000,000. The overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.99.
