2 Injured In I-95 Crane Collapse In Broward County: FL Highway Patrol

Two construction workers were injured when a crane collapsed on I-95 in Broward County on Monday morning, Florida Highway Patrol said.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL — Two construction workers were injured when a construction crane collapsed in the median of I-95 in Broward County on Monday morning, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

FHP received calls about the crane’s collapse just before 11 a.m., the agency said.

The southbound lanes of I-95 are closed, and traffic is being diverted to Sunrise Boulevard, FHP said.

The injured construction workers were brought to hospitals in the area for treatment.

The crane was originally located in a construction zone in that area, the agency said.
