WEST PALM BEACH, FL — After videos and photos shared to social media showed a mostly maskless crowd ringing in the New Year at Mar-a-Lago, Palm Beach County has sent a warning letter to Pres. Donald Trump’s club, reports said.

The president's son, Donald Trump, Jr., and others shared photos and videos from the bash showing many maskless attendees. Vanilla Ice, the Beach Boys, Taylor Dayne and others performed at the event.

"Ok this is amazing. Vanilla Ice is playing the Mar-a-Lago New Year's Eve party. As a child of the 90s you can't fathom how awesome that is," Trump, Jr. wrote when he shared a video of rapper Vanilla Ice's performance at the party.

Since then, some local leaders, led by state Rep. Omari Hardy, have pushed for the club to be fined or shut down for violating Palm Beach County’s mask mandate for businesses.

Though the county opted not to fine or shut down the club, its warning letter, issued Tuesday, addresses “a breakdown in enforcement of the mask orders that led to almost the entire room of guests being without masks during the later evening activities,” reports said.

The county addressed the warning letter to the club’s executive vice president and managing director, Bernd Lembcke.

If there are further violations of the county’s mask mandate, Mar-a-Lago could face fines, the letter said. A code violation notice was sent along with the letter, reports said.
