"Being recognized by the readers of South Florida Family Life is especially meaningful because it reflects the trust families place in our team every day," said Melissa Bottge White, executive director of Children's Diagnostic & Treatment Center. "We are honored to be recognized for the work we do alongside children and families and remain committed to ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive."

For more than 40 years, CDTC has provided a wide range of programs and services designed to help children with disabilities and chronic illnesses reach their full potential. The organization works closely with children and their families to provide individualized care, medical and dental services, early intervention, educational resources and specialized programs that address each child's unique needs.

One of the most recognizable services for the center is the Early Steps intervention program, providing support to infants and toddlers from birth to age 3 who have developmental delays or disabilities. As Broward County's lead agency for Early Steps, CDTC works with families to evaluate children's developmental needs, establish individualized goals and provide services such as speech, occupational and physical therapy, audiology, vision services and family education. Federally funded, the program has no income requirements and is always free for families.

Families value CDTC's compassionate staff, multidisciplinary approach and commitment to improving the quality of life for children and their caregivers. Its comprehensive approach to care and longstanding commitment to the community has made CDTC a trusted resource for families throughout Broward County.
