U.S. Century Bank Promotes Lesner Castillo to Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasurer

U.S. Century Bank today announced the promotion of Lesner Castillo, CFA, to Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasurer. In this expanded role, Castillo will continue leading the bank's treasury function, including capital and liquidity management, asset-liability management and investment portfolio oversight, while assuming responsibility for the Bank's finance and accounting functions.

"Since joining the bank in 2020, he has been instrumental in advancing key strategic initiatives and supporting the bank's continued growth."

Most recently, Castillo served as senior vice president and treasurer, serving as a strategic advisor to executive management and the board of directors on matters involving balance sheet management, capital planning, liquidity, and interest rate risk. He played a key role in U.S. Century Bank's successful initial public offering in 2021 and the subsequent capital restructure that formed USCB Financial Holdings, Inc. Earlier this year, Castillo was designated an ex officio member of the Asset Liability Committee, reflecting the important role he plays in supporting the bank's financial management and governance.

Castillo holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and earned a master's degree in applied economics from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Venezuela. He also holds certifications in asset liability management from the New York Institute of Finance and Leading with Finance from Harvard Business School.

He is an adjunct professor at the University of Miami Business School.
