Boy, 12, Among 2 Killed In Dania Beach 7-Eleven Shooting
Broward County authorities said the suspected gunman shot two people before turning the gun on himself.
DANIA BEACH, FL — Two people are dead, including a 12-year-old boy, following a late-night shooting at a Dania Beach convenience store, according to authorities.
The Broward County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to 7-Eleven at 800 Stirling Rd. shortly before 11:15 p.m. Thursday for a reported shooting. When deputies arrived, they found three people suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to authorities, the shooter fired shots into a car parked in the 7-Eleven parking lot, killing a man inside. Authorities said the shooter then entered the business and fatally shot a 12-year-old boy.

According to authorities, the gunman then fatally shot himself.
A witness working inside the store told WSVN the shooter shot the boy in the head.

"When he hit the floor, (the shooter) went 'pow, pow pow' and then just took out himself," the witness told WSVN.
The gunman, whom police did not identify, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died, authorities said.
Police did not reveal a motive for the shooting, which remains under investigation.
