Bundles Of Cocaine Worth $2M Found On Florida Beaches
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said the packages were found on Big Pine Key on Monday.
MONROE COUNTY, FL — Authorities recovered nearly 150 pounds of cocaine after numerous bundles washed ashore Monday in the Lower Keys.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said the packages were found on Big Pine Key between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
A resident found three bundles, each containing 10 separate packages of cocaine, near the water on Long Beach Road, police said. In all, police recovered 75 pounds of cocaine.

Later, 25 bundles weighing approximately 70 pounds were found offshore by a good Samaritan on Big Pine Key.
The packages of cocaine were turned over to federal authorities, police said.
