Boca Lago Golf & Country Club

Arc Broward, in partnership with Miami Dolphins alumni and NFL Hall of Famer Dwight Stephenson, will host the inaugural Dwight Stephenson Arc Broward Golf Classic, presented by Gunther Motor Company. The tournament will be held on Friday, June 19 at Boca Lago Golf &amp; Country Club, 8665 Juego Way, Boca Raton. 
The funds raised during the tournament will support Arc Broward’s mission to strengthen the community by empowering people with disabilities to grow, develop and thrive. 
The day will begin at 7 a.m. with registration and a continental breakfast. The tournament will follow with a shotgun start and a best-ball scramble format. After play concludes, guests will enjoy an awards luncheon and silent auction.
Registration fees are $325 for one golf patron or $1,500 for a corporate foursome and include cart and green fees, player gift pack, golf shirt, breakfast, course food and beverage and the awards luncheon.

Hued Songs presents The Juneteenth Experience MainStage Performance, the artistic centerpiece of its annual Juneteenth series. Now in its sixth year, the free concert-theater production brings together live music, spoken word, dance, choreography and visual storytelling to honor Juneteenth and celebrate Black artistic tradition as central to the American story. This year’s performance unfolds under Hued Songs’ season theme, “We, Too, Sing America,” inspired by the Langston Hughes poem, and asks: Who is America, and who gets to say so?
The performance moves through gospel, blues, R&amp;B and classical traditions, tracing the influence of Black communities on American sound and culture. The Juneteenth Experience returns to the Miami Beach Bandshell, where it began in 2021, and makes its debut at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center in Fort Lauderdale.
The event starts with a pre-event celebration.
