Flourish Media Conference Celebrates 10 Years of Connecting Women to Capital in Miami

Event Details
The nationally recognized Flourish Media Conference returns to Miami on February 20–21, 2026, celebrating a decade of expanding access to capital, education, and opportunity for women entrepreneurs. The milestone 10th Annual Flourish Media Conference (FMC26) will take place at 361 NW 67th Street and is expected to draw more than 300 founders, funders, financial educators, and community leaders from across the country.
This year’s theme, Seasons, reflects the full lifecycle of women in business—from early-stage ideation and growth to transition, sustainability, and legacy building. The theme underscores Flourish Media’s core philosophy: entrepreneurship is inseparable from the lived realities of women.
Founded by Vivian Olodun and Dr. Tracy Timberlake, the Flourish Media Conference was created to address a persistent gap facing women entrepreneurs—particularly women of color—who often have the vision and expertise to build scalable businesses but lack equitable access to capital and decision-makers.
FMC26 offers interactive workshops, investor pitch opportunities with funders actively seeking women-led businesses, on-site vendors, and structured networking designed to produce tangible outcomes. Attendees are eligible for grants through participation, with year-round support available through the Flourish Membership.
“Entrepreneurship isn’t just a business journey—it’s a life journey,” said Dr. Tracy Timberlake, co-founder of Flourish Media. “Women move through seasons, and our success is deeply tied to the personal and economic realities we’re navigating. Seasons remind founders that challenges are part of the cycle—not a measure of failure.”
On Saturday, February 21, the Mayor’s Office of Miami-Dade County will officially proclaim Behind The Leaf Day, recognizing Flourish Media and its sister organization, Behind The Leaf, for 10 years of leadership in financial literacy, economic empowerment, and women-centered entrepreneurship.
Over the past decade, Flourish Media and Behind The Leaf have raised more than $300,000 to support financial education initiatives and reached over 2.6 million people through training programs, partnerships, and digital platforms. Their work emphasizes practical financial tools—such as understanding taxes, profit and loss statements, and funding structures—delivered through a culturally responsive, real-world lens.
“What sets Flourish apart is intentional access,” Timberlake added. “Our funders are in the room, building real relationships with women business owners. We’re not just talking about capital—we’re creating pathways to it.”
FMC26 is supported by partners including InterCredit Bank, Paschal Pediatric, The Miami Foundation, Black Moms Miami, Caribbean Women Network, HerKind, SHF Foundation, and Greater Miami Links Inc. Sponsors include Omi Water, RAP SNACKS, and Goslings.
“This milestone isn’t just about our organization,” Timberlake said. “It’s about the thousands of women who have walked through our doors and discovered they are capable, funded, and supported.”
