Taking over 660 Lincoln Road, this immersive pop-up celebrates the launch of the second edition of Yes, And magazine - this time spotlighting the art and attitude of the silk press and the brand’s latest innovation, Silk Press in a Bottle, designed to deliver smooth, shiny, silk-like results at home. 
Open to the public, the activation invites guests to step into a newsstand-inspired space complete with live silk press demos from SheaMoisture stylist partners, giving attendees a chance to see Silk Press in a Bottle live in action. 
Beyond hair, visitors can enjoy a lineup of freshly pressed perks, including cold-pressed juices, complimentary copies of the limited-edition Yes, And print magazine, and additional giveaways throughout the weekend.

The <a href="https://outshinefilm.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival Spring Edition</a>presents its Centerpiece FilmMaspalomas (Spain, 2025), a comedy-drama, at 7:30 p.m. on April 30, at the historic Koubek Center (2705 SW 3rd St) in Miami. An afterparty will follow the screening.
Seventy-six-year-old Vicente is finally living his truth. In the sun-drenched LGBTQ+ haven of Maspalomas, he spends his days cruising the dunes and his nights in the neon glow of the Yumbo Centre. But when a stroke leaves him partially paralyzed, he is forced back to his rainy hometown of San Sebastián. Placed in a conservative nursing home by his estranged daughter, Vicente retreats into the closet. However, an unlikely friendship with his ebullient, right-wing roommate and a secret digital life spark a quiet revolution. This poignant look at aging proves that the light of self-discovery never truly fades.
In Basque and Spanish with English subtitles, the film runs 106 minutes.
This year’s OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival Spring Edition runs through May 3 with select films available for OUTshine At-Home viewing from May 4 - 10.

celebrating the 40th anniversary of James Beard Award-winning Chef Allen Susser’s unforgettable Chef Allen’s restaurant will take place at Fort Lauderdale’s one-and-only <a href="https://www.sunnesssupperclub.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Sunness Supper Club</a>. 

For this not-to-be-missed, one-night-only experience, Sunness Supper Club (for which Susser serves as culinary director) will “be closed to the public” so that it may transform into Chef Allen’s Pop-Up where Chef, alongside his wife Judi, will present an unforgettable evening of bold, inspired flavors featuring a multi-course menu that highlights so many of his most beloved signature dishes. Honoring chef’s roots as a proud alum, the not-to-be-missed celebration will also include a raffle benefiting the FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality &amp; Management.

The Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami (CCBM) under the artistic direction of Eriberto Jimenez, will present Le Corsaire Suite. This enchanting ballet is based on Lord Byron’s epic poem written in 1814, a romantic story of pirates, maidens, slave merchants, and pashas. 

The Suite is a compilation of the most beloved scenes from the full-length ballet, including:
Le Jardin Animé
Pas d’Esclave,
Grand Pas de Trois des Odalisques
Le Corsaire Pas de Deux
&amp; More

The first performance of Le Corsaire as a ballet was in 1837 at the King's Theatre in London, with choreography by François Albert and music by Nicholas Bochsa. The ballet was later reworked by Joseph Mazilier, whose version premiered in 1856 with music by Adolphe Adam at the Paris Opera, achieving unexpected success. In 1858, Jules Perrot adapted the story again, adding several new dances later on choreographer Marius Petipa created several versions between 1863 and 1899.
