MIAMI, FL — A city commissioner’s office was ransacked during a break-in at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, over the weekend, authorities said.

The unauthorized city hall entry and break-in of Commissioner Manolo Reyes’ office happened sometime between Friday after 4:30 p.m. and Monday before 9 a.m., according to a Miami Police Department news release.

Reyes’ desk was found with open drawers and several pictures knocked face down Monday around 9 a.m., police said.

Detectives are investigating the break-in and will review surveillance footage at city hall.

Reyes, first elected in November 2017, represents District 4.
