Cruise Worker Accused Of Filming Teens In Rooms Charged In FL: Reports

The man reportedly put cameras in guest bathrooms, with some footage showing females undressing or showering, to later "pleasure himself."

SOUTH FLORIDA — A Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines staffer, accused of hiding cameras in guest bathrooms to spy on young girls and later using the footage to "pleasure himself," reportedly told authorities he tries to control it but cannot.

Arvin Joseph Mirasol, a stateroom attendant from the Philippines, was investigated after the cruise lines notified authorities of Mirasol's suspected behavior on Feb. 26, Fox 35 reported. He worked on the Symphony of the Seas ship.

Not only did Mirasol allegedly tell authorities that he puts cameras in the rooms if he likes the guests, PEOPLE reported he also told them he chose to record girls who were at least 16-years-old though authorities said he recorded girls as young as age 10.
