Disheveled Bank Robber Holds Up SunTrust In Miami
A lone bank robber held up a SunTrust Bank branch in Miami on Monday and escaped with an unspecified amount of cash.

MIAMI, FL — The FBI is searching for a a disheveled bank robber with oversized sunglasses who held up a SunTrust Bank branch on Monday. The robbery took place around 2:11 p.m. The branch is located at 8717 SW 24 Street.
"The robber entered the bank, advised he had a weapon and demanded money from employees," according to Special Agent Michael Leverock and spokesman Jim Marshall of the FBI in Miami. (Sign up for our free Daily Newsletters and Breaking News Alerts for the Miami Patch.)
"There were customers in the bank. There were no injuries," they added. "The amount of money taken during the robbery will not be released at this time."

The FBI released photographs of the suspect taken from surveillance cameras.
