Dolphins, Tyreek Hill Agree To Extension After Trade
The Miami Dolphins are sending five draft picks to the Chiefs in the trade and quickly made Hill the highest-paid receiver in NFL history.

MIAMI, FL — The Miami Dolphins have acquired All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for five draft picks, the team announced Wednesday.
The Dolphins are sending a first-, second- and fourth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and a fourth- and sixth-round pick in 2023, according to the report. The 2022 first-round pick is No. 29 overall, and the second-rounder is No. 50.
The Dolphins and Hill agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $120 million with $72.2 million guaranteed, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, making Hill the highest-paid receiver in NFL history. The contract surpassed Davante Adams' recently signed deal with the Las Vegas Raiders in terms of average annual value.
