‘FL Joker’ Claims GTA 6 Character Is Based On His Likeness
"You ain't getting a job at Home Depot with that face," a voice actor for the Grand Theft Auto series told the "Florida Joker."

FLORIDA — The man dubbed the “Florida Joker,” whose mugshot showcasing his facial tattoos and bright green hair went viral in 2017, has a bone to pick with Rockstar Games, the company behind the Grand Theft Auto videogame franchise.
Lawrence Sullivan, who’s also sometimes called the “Miami Joker,” claims a character in the trailer for the new “Grand Theft Auto VI," which is filled with multiple "Florida man" references, includes a character based on his likeness, according to multiple reports.
"That's me," he said in a TikTok video as he showed pictures of himself and the in-game character, according to Complex. "That's the person they got the inspiration from. That's me. That's me. GTA, we gotta talk. Or no, you gotta give me like a mill or two ... Y'all took my likeness. Y'all took my life."

Sullivan, a self-described tattoo model, was arrested in Miami-Dade County on May 23, 2017, and charged with carrying a concealed firearm, which he was pointing at moving vehicles. In his mugshot, he resembled the Batman villain The Joker.
He was arrested again in 2018 at a Pinellas County home in the 200 block of Mirror Lake Drive North for violating his probation after missing several court-ordered appointments, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

GTA voice actor Roger Clark, who portrays the character Arthur Morgan, offered a video response to Sullivan, which has since been deleted, according to PC Gamer.
"You don't need to talk to them (GTA) … they are lawyered up, man. They know exactly what they can and cannot get away with,” Clark said. “If I were you, I would use the notoriety they just threw your way to your advantage. Capitalize on it somehow. You ain't getting a job at Home Depot with that face."
