FL Woman Saves Dog, Injured In Alligator Attack: Report
The woman told a media outlet she believes the alligator was targeting her Rottweiler's throat.
PEMBROKE PINES — New Year's Eve took a turn for a South Florida woman who said she was injured while saving her dog from an alligator near the Everglades, media outlet WSVN reported Tuesday.
The outlet reported Gwen Cash said she believes the alligator was aiming for her Rottweiler's throat when she attempted to wrap her arm around the dog's chest Sunday, getting scratched while doing so.
Cash told the outlet she was able to get Maximus, her Rottweiler, into the house after the attack and is working to try and have the alligator relocated from the area, where families live.
