FL Woman Who Stole Diary Of Joe Biden’s Daughter Jailed: Reports

NEW YORK — The Florida woman who stole and sold the diary of President Joe Biden’s daughter was sentenced to one month in jail, according to multiple reports.

Aimee Harris, 41, pleaded guilty in 2022 to stealing the handwritten journal, tax records, a digital storage card with family photographs, a cell phone and other personal items belonging to Ashley Biden from her friend’s Delray Beach home, according to a U.S. Department of Justice news release.

She sold the items to Project Veritas, a conservative nonprofit organization, for $20,000 in 2020, according to the Washington Post. Her co-defendant, Robert Kurlander, also received $20,000.

Harris, who lives in Palm Beach, was sentenced to one month in prison and three years of probation Tuesday in a Manhattan courtroom, CNN reported.

Federal Judge Laura Taylor Swain called the woman’s actions “despicable,” ABC News said.

Harris apologized to Ashley Biden from the courtroom.
