Hurricane Irma: Latest South Florida County-By-County Power Outages

As of Wednesday night, about 6.1 million Floridians remained without power.

MIAMI, FL — Hurricane Irma's swirling winds and heavy rains have left Miami and the rest of southern Florida, but power outages continue to plague the region.

On Wednesday night, three days after Irma steamrolled across the length of the state, about 30 percent of Floridians were still without power, according to the latest floridadisaster.org figures, or rough.y 6.1 million people.

Florida Power & Light tweeted Wednesday morning that it had restored power to 60 percent of all its customers and estimated that it will restore power to essentially all of its customers along Florida's east coast by Monday. FPL said it expects to restore power by Sept. 22 for its west coast customers.
