Hurricane Irma's Free Tolls End Thursday In Florida
Now that Hurricane Irma is gone, the free tolls are also leaving from most Florida roadways.

MIAMI, FL — One of the only bright spots of Hurricane Irma may have been the free tolls on Florida roadways. Now that Irma is gone, the free tolls are also leaving in most places. Make sure you have SunPass handy starting on Thursday.
"Tolls on a vast majority of Florida’s Turnpike system, all Florida Department of Transportation roads and bridges, and all regional toll facilities throughout the state will be reinstated this Thursday, Sept. 21 at 12:01 a.m.," according to Florida transportation officials.
Tolls were suspended on Tuesday, Sept. 5 to help to help with the evacuation around Hurricane Irma.
