Man Angry Over Menu Tries To Storm Cockpit On FL Flight: Docs
The man assaulted two flight attendants while demanding to see the captain on a flight bound for Miami, authorities said.

MIAMI, FL — A man is facing federal charges after authorities said he tried to storm the cockpit of a Florida-bound flight because he was upset about his menu options, according to court documents.
Robert Croizat was charged with misdemeanor assault and interfering with flight crew members following the March 8 incident, according to an affidavit of probable cause. He was arraigned in April and was scheduled to plead guilty in Miami federal court on Wednesday, according to court records.
Authorities said Croizat was on a flight bound for Miami from Barbados when he approached a flight attendant and called him "a s----- flight attendant" because he didn't address Croizat better when giving him choices for his meal.

According to court documents, another flight attendant intervened as Croizat admitted to the first crew members that he had consumed two drinks during the flight. At the time, authorities said Croizat turned to the second flight attendant and asked, "What, you want to call the captain?" Despite the flight attendants asking him to return to his seat, Croizat continued demanding to see the captain, court documents state.
During the altercation, authorities said Croizat pushed a third flight attendant twice and pinned the second against the cockpit door when she asked him to sit down.

At one point, court documents said a passenger lifted Croizat and placed him in his seat, where he remained for the duration of the flight and "continued to complain to flight attendants about the way he was treated."
During the flight, the plane's captain reported Croizat to air traffic control and told authorities he attempted to breach the cockpit.
Croizat was removed from the plane by authorities when it landed at Miami International Airport, court documents said.
