Man Shot Outside Lounge In West Palm Beach: Reports

WEST PALM BEACH, FL — A man was shot Sunday morning outside a bar in West Palm Beach, according to reports.

The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. near Empire Lounge, according to CBS12, which reported the club was closed when the shooting happened, but there were people in the parking lot.

The man was struck in the leg, CBS12 reported. He was found suffering from his injuries in a car, according to WPTV, which reported the man was in serious condition at a local hospital. He is expected to recover, police said, adding there is no threat to the community.

Police were investigating the incident Sunday morning at the Village Square Shopping Plaza near 45th Street and Village Boulevard, according to WPTV.
