Marlins Take on Pirates With Tip of Fedora
The team is planning three giveaways to mark its upcoming five-game homestand against Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay.

MIAMI, FL — The Miami Marlins open a five-game homestand against the Pirates and Rays on Friday night with a tip of the fedora to fans — literally. The team will be giving away stylish soft-brim hats with a Marlins logo on the band to the first 7,500 fans who make it out to Marlins Park. Friday's game starts at 7:10 p.m.
If fedoras are not your thing the team is also giving away a commemorative Marlins tumbler to the first 7,000 fans who turn out for Saturday night's game against the Bucs. That game also starts at 7:10 p.m.
The Fish close out the weekend on Sunday by giving the first 5,000 fans commemorative posters to mark Ichiro's milestone 3,000th hit. Sunday's game starts at 1:10 p.m. and wraps up the Pirates visit to the the Margic City. That game will also feature a special pregame ceremony to honor Ichiro.
