Miami 3rd Best City For Retirees
The Magic City finished behind only Orlando and Tampa as the best cities for retirees. Can you guess which city finished dead last?

MIAMI, FL — Miami ranks as the third best city for retirees in the United States based on a new study by personal finance website WalletHub. The study examined 40 factors in America's 150 largest cities. The factors included affordability, quality of life, health care and availability of recreational activities.
Orlando and Tampa topped the list ahead of Miami while San Bernardino, California, Providence Rhode Island and Newark, New Jersey were the worst U.S. cities for retirees. (Sign up for our free Daily Newsletters and Breaking News Alerts for the Miami Patch.)
"With retirement confidence declining in 2017 and nearly four in 10 American workers having little or no money saved for their golden years, the personal-finance website WalletHub conducted an in-depth analysis of 2017’s Best & Worst Places to Retire," according to the website.

Rounding out the top five cities were Scottsdale, Arizona and Atlanta, Georgia.Miami ranked first with respect to the most home care facilities per capita among the top 150 cities and scored above average in the annual cost of in-home services, recreation and senior centers per capita, adult volunteer activities per capita and percentage of 65 and older population.
